Frequently Asked Questions

Please review the Frequently Asked Questions thoroughly before emailing or contacting the staff...your questions are important to us at Sell's, but as Chris and Shanna are involved in every aspect of teaching & choreographing each and every class, time spent fielding questions already answered here is time away from "the kids".

  • Additional fees will be incurred on all checks returned for insufficient funds
  • Tuition should be given to class instructors

Q: Why is there no drinking or eating in the lobbies ?
A: The studio lobby is an extremely active place, especially during class transitions. Eating and drinking in the lobby provides too many risks to the safety of dancers and to dancers gear.

Q: What can we expect at Recital Time ?
A: At Sell’s Broadway Dance Company we stay away from the basic recital, we strive to have a Broadway-style show, we use props, Broadway quality back drops are flown in, we have sets, and we do big production numbers. We try to make it very elaborate. Our goal is to make each recital a memorable and real “stage” experience for our students. With over 200 students and over 40 numbers recital time can be quite hectic. To help new Dance parents please see "Surviving Recital Week A to Z".

Q: Where do I purchase leotard, tights and shoes?
A: Leotards and Sell's Broadway Dance company jazz shirts can be purchased at the studio, before or after your regularly scheduled class.

Q: What days will the studio be closed for Holidays, Storm Days etc?
